Aromatherapy massage

Essential oils and aromatic plants have been used for healing purposes for thousands of years by all the great civilizations of the world. Essential oils are highly concentrated and are more than just pleasant smelling oils. Each essential oil has it’s own unique signature, it’s own fragrance and healing properties.

Aromatherapy massage involves the blending of a few drops of pure essential oils with carrier oils, such as almond, grape seed or sunflower.

Massage is the most effective way of applying essential oils to the body. When the body is massaged the essential oils are absorbed by the skin and into the blood stream in a short time. The combination of a deeply relaxing massage and the use of essential oils enhance the overall effectiveness of the treatment.

Aromatherapy massage can be described as truly holistic as it simultaneously affects your physical, emotional, mental and spiritual well-being.

Pregnant women

Pregnant women can enjoy Aromatherapy massage after the first three months of pregnancy. It can also alleviate some of the minor ailments experienced during pregnancy. The aromatherapy blend is more diluted and as a precaution there are some essential oils that will not be used.

The essential oils used for each Aromatherapy massage are blended specifically for you.
